Job Description
A leading organisation is looking for a Financial Project Administrator to join their team. The main purpose of the role is reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices, including reporting on project related spend for the company
Responsibilities:
Ensure all project invoices are captured upon receipt into the SAP accounting system. Liaising with the company’s centralised services and monitoring of supplier records for payments and outstanding payments. Ensure all suppliers are paid timeously. Monthly reports and reconciliations performed over project related invoices and their respective suppliers. Assist with reports to Head of Finance and other relevant executives. Maintaining schedules and details of project financial transfers and other project related payments required and their due dates. Assist with relevant capital structuring and funding requirements. General administrative support to the relevant financial projects. Analyse, prioritise, and drive implementation of finance processes relating to project spend. Effective creation of efficiencies within control environment. Involvement in the budget and cost centre reporting process. Involvement in the audit process (Internal and External) and timeously respond to audit related queries. Ad-hoc financial tasks.
Requirements:
BComm (Acc) or Finance related qualification with 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Technical and business knowledge within the financial services industry. Computer Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, SAP Financials).
