Managing of Banqueting Manager, Head Housekeeper
Ensuring day to day smooth functioning of Club operations. Directly supervising the Banqueting Manager & Head Housekeeper. Dealing closely with members, visitors and guests and handle their queries, compliments and complaints. To be visible in the service areas during peak hours of business.
Additional responsibilities:
- Ensure sufficient cleaning material & toiletries is purchased for the house keeping department
- Ensure that the house keeping department is run efficiently
- Produce a monthly stock movement and value report for all house keeping consumables
- Ensure that the outbuildings (tennis pavilion, squash courts & bowls pavilion) are cleaned and maintained according to Club standards.
- Supervise and assist the Banqueting Manager with his/her duties.
- Ensure efficient running of the banqueting department (i.e. control and manage staff hours casual as well as permanent, efficient rostering, produce monthly stock takes of all banqueting equipment)
- Check service during functions when on duty
- Advice senior management on any training required by staff members or products required from capital expense accounts.
- Assist F&B Manager with issues whilst on duty
The club might request duties to be performed different from these mentioned above from time to time as the business requires. These requests will however be reasonable and lawful.
