Job Description
A leading multinational firm of Consultants is looking for an individual to lead their Mine Closure Department which focuses on mine closure liability assessments, developing mine closure strategies and plans and calculating mine closure costs. In addition to this, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new services within the department, placing it in the forefront of the industry.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc Engineering/Environmental Science
MSc degree will be beneficial
Must have SACNASP accreditation
10+ years experience
Experience in the following:
•Develop mine closure strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
•Carry out a gap analysis on the client’s mine closure strategy and provide a report on the findings.
•Provide advice and guidance to the client in terms of the implementation of the mine closure plan
•Develop and implement mine closure project plans
