Requirements:
A Chartered Accountant CA (SA) qualification
A Master's degree (MBA) would be advantageous
SAP or enterprise level ERP exposure
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
10-15 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
5 years in a senior financial leadership role
Previous experience within a listed environment

Duties:
Finance: Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring strong financial performance and continuous improvement.
Administration: Continuously enhance business processes to provide efficient back-office support to the sales function.
Information Technology: Drive digital transformation initiatives to modernize business processes, improve customer experience, and enhance operational efficiency, while ensuring compliance and maintaining a secure IT business environment.
Legal and Compliance: Manage all company contracts, including those with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Serve as a liaison between the company and its key stakeholders.
Financial Reporting: Provide financial reports to stakeholders at key reporting intervals (i.e. monthly flash reports, management accounts, quarterly audit committee and board packs and annual year end reporting packs).
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Compile annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Finance and Compliance Relations: Manage finance and compliance relationships between the company, its dealers, and subcontractors.
Cost Control and Efficiencies: Manage and optimize business costs without compromising service or quality.
Dealer and Subcontractor Agreements: Oversee dealer and subcontractor agreements, risk analysis, onboarding processes and reporting.
Contract Management: Supervise major customer contracts, premises leases, and supplier agreements.
Branch Financial Management: Oversee branch financials, set targets, and provide support.
Business Area Support: Provide support to other departments such as Sales, Service, and Logistics in areas including pricing, rebate and commission structures, stock management, capital expenditure and procurement management.
Banking and Financial Institutions: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
