Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Logistics Excellence Manager to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their export and logistics operations. The successful candidate will focus on process analysis, operations improvement, and optimizing logistics to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline order processing and shipment workflows across business units and suppliers.
- Evaluate and monitor logistics partners, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Export Coordinators, Key Account Managers, and Business Development Managers to improve efficiencies within the export process.
- Work with the warehouse team to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Implement process improvements to address shipment delays and prevent future issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to support logistics optimization.
- Generate regular reports on order status and shipment performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
- Identify opportunities for automation to improve visibility across the supply chain.
- Ensure communication flows smoothly with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and maintain operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, exports, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications like APICS, Six Sigma, a plus).
