Moore Infinity is a member of a leading international network of accounting and consulting firms. We have a vacancy in our Tax Division for an experienced Tax Compliance Officer to manage a portfolio of tax clients.

You will need to have an excellent knowledge of the Taxation legislation as well as the ability to practically apply this knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Completing of annual income tax returns for individuals (including high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs), companies, trusts and exempt entities. Efficient tax structuring for individuals Reviewing assessments received from SARS. Manage SARS applications relating to Application to SARS when an individual has ceased to be a SA tax resident, attending to SARS’ queries and calculation of possible deemed CGT. Objecting to incorrect tax assessments Provisional tax returns Applying for tax clearances and tax directives Preparation, completion, and submission of IRP5 reconciliations. SARS dispute resolution process Dealing with queries from clients, SARS and other departments within Moore Consulting with clients Portfolio management ( – clients minimum)
Experience in the following would be beneficial.
Voluntary Disclosure Programme Special allowance applications Tax Due Diligences Registration of PBO’s with the SARS exemption unit Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Matriculation with Mathematics/Accounting Graduate or Postgraduate Tax Qualification (Qualified Tax Technician with SAIT) Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS and a recognised controlling body Experience handling a portfolio of clients of approximately in a tax/compliance department Working knowledge of Greatsoft tax software and Wintax would be an advantage Working knowledge of SARS e-filing website
Essential experience:
Minimum 7 years working experience in a Tax Department
