INHERENT REQUIREMENTS
GENERAL
Matric
A minimum of 2 years of operations management experience within the Temporary Employment Services (TES) Industry
Good knowledge of Industrial Relations (IR), the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Bargaining Councils, the TES Industry, and the Labour Relations Act (LRA)
Experience working on internal systems and programs (Contractor Zone and Branch Payzone) would be advantageous
Good numeracy skills
Computer literate (MS Office)
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
A valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle (essential)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be actively involved with the start-up of new contracts and briefing sessions for existing contracts to ensure that the correct staff is supplied
Liaise with the Operations and / or General Manager to ascertain client requirements
Ensure that daily debrief is attended and that all client related information and feedback is reported and logged
Work in conjunction with the Recruiter and / or Operations Managers to ensure that suitable candidates are recruited
Adhere to the stipulations of the relevant Company policies and procedures in respect of the recruitment of assignees
Ensure that legislative requirements in respect of the hiring of foreign nationals are adhered to
Support the Company's objectives in respect of Employment Tax Incentive (ETI)
Select candidates for placement and / or overtime in a legal and ethical manner
Adhere to the stipulations of the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Stakeholder Engagement Policies
Ensure that the correct paperwork is signed and maintained for all assignees
Ensure that Fixed Term Contracts and Annexure A’s are updated / valid
Ensure that assignee files and Contractor Zone files are kept up to date
Ensure that all IDs, job descriptions, EEA1 forms, qualifications, contracts, disciplinaries and other documentation relating to assignees must be filed on Contractor Zone and in branch files
Ensure that the electronic blacklist is kept up to date on Contractor Zone
Ensure that all requirements as stipulated by the Company are adhered to, when submitting timesheets and supporting documents for payments
Timesheets must be checked to ensure that all indicated hours are correct, all totals are correct, assignees are linked to the correct rates and timesheets are signed by the client as required
Adhere to the payroll deadlines as stipulated
Ensure that leave applications are accurately checked prior to payroll and that all approvals and / or paperwork is in order
Submit reports to the Branch Manager as required
Daily headcount report to be submitted by 09:00 am daily
Assist the Branch or Operations Managers with the management and issuing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ensure that all assignees are allocated with the correct PPE
Assist the Branch or Operations Managers with the management of End of Contracts
Ensure that assignees are issued with the applicable end of contract notice
Ensure that PPE and clock cards are returned
Issue UIF claim documentation
Deliver exceptional customer service to assignees
Maintain the values of the Company in all interactions with assignees
Monitor, follow up and ensure resolution to all assignee queries within a 24 hour timeframe
Schedule training and medicals for assignees as required
Arrange transport for assignees as required
Aid and support the Branch or Operations Manager as and when required
Assist with the completion of Injury on Duty (IOD) claim documentation
Ensure that assignees are using the payslip app
