Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of the sales process.
Responsibilities:
Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and create cross-selling and upselling strategies to maximize revenue. Develop and implement account plans, including setting sales targets and action plans. Collaborate with the Sales team to identify potential leads and assist in the acquisition of new clients. Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to identify growth opportunities and address any concerns or issues. Work closely with the Operations and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client complaints or issues. Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay up-to-date on market developments and identify potential business opportunities. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to key clients. Utilize sales CRM systems to manage client interactions, document sales activities, and track progress towards sales targets.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or Law 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales. Previous experience within the industry is preferred. Valid driver’s license Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role, preferably in a related industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of sales principles and strategies. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
