Job Description
A leading international firm, who provides solar and energy efficiency solutions to commercial and industrial customers in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying new commercial and industrial business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.
You should be well-networked and be actively involved in cold calling, responding to incoming leads, attending events and taking stands at conferences. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. The job involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the market, enhancing the operation of the business, position and reputation in the region.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business or marketing
•7+ years experience in a mid to senior level in sales, with experience in the solar industry
•Experience of working in a multinational, multi-segment environment with matrix reporting
