A large renewables company with offices around the world is looking for a Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager is the cornerstone of the company responsible for identifying new commercial and industrial business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. S/he will bring forth the best solar and energy efficiency solutions by identifying sales leads, pitch services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
The BD Manager will be attending events and networking, taking stands at conferences, cold calling, and responding to incoming leads. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. The job involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the market, and enhancing the operation of the business and reputation in the region. The role is closely working with Risk, Legal, Finance, and Technical teams.
Minimum requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Economics or Marketing.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
•Previous experience in the solar industry.
•7 years’ experience in a mid to senior level in Sales.
•Proficiency in MS Office.
