Overview
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Insights Manager to join their team in the Western Cape region of South Africa. This role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data to provide key insights and recommendations that will drive business growth and strategic decision-making within the beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of market research and analysis projects to uncover insights on consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape within the beverage industry in the Western Cape region Interpret and analyze data from a variety of sources such as consumer surveys, sales reports, and industry reports to identify opportunities for growth and market expansion Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain to develop and implement insight-driven strategies and initiatives Communicate key insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders to guide decision-making and business planning Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer preferences to help inform business strategy and decision-making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred Minimum of 8 years of experience in FMCG sector (Business Insights Manager, Category Manager, POS Manager) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from complex data sets Expertise in market research methodologies, data analysis tools, and presentation of insights Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI
