Purpose: The Biddable Social Specialist will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of performance campaigns across the client portfolio. This includes strategy and implementation across all relevant social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
Execution & Optimization
- Implement and optimise end-to-end Social Media campaigns across all major platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) based on brief parameters and media strategy in accordance with best practice.
- Interpret the data provided by all the digital marketing platforms to optimise and provide actionable insights and recommendations for better campaign performance.
- Conduct audience, placement, and platform research to help inform clients' paid media strategies.
- Develop targeting and budgeting recommendations.
- Leverage first-party data for targeting and insights.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the various ad formats and targeting options offered by all major platforms and use these to achieve client objectives.
- Produce useful and accurate reporting on all digital marketing activity.
- Manage and control client spends diligently and in line with company processes across all Social Media channels.
- Ensure that all digital marketing campaigns deliver on internal performance requirements which will be directly linked to client key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple objectives.
- Leverage our relationships with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. to assist in the setup and/or optimisation of client campaigns/accounts.
Learning
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing and how they relate to social media advertising.
- Be well versed in brand safety and viewability as well as be able to implement the required controls put in place to help us protect the client’s brands.
Clients and Internal Teams
- Effectively manage stakeholder relationships by ensuring expectations are appropriately defined and well managed.
- Maintain a sustainable positive relationship with clients as well as internal teams.
- Attend client meetings/events as and when required and effectively communicate with clients over email and telephonically when needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 3-5 years of biddable social experience preferred.
- Understanding of agency reporting and optimization processes.
- Knowledge of the local digital publisher landscape.
- Social Media certifications (including Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of bid strategies, understanding of benefits and trade-offs.
- Strong written, verbal, and presenting skills.
- Excellent copywriting and grammar skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to analyse data and provide insightful recommendations.
