ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main purpose of the role:
Stakeholder Relations Management team plays a vital role in supporting the company to identify stakeholders in areas where we have projects and assess the stakeholder's expectations. The primary task of this team is to develop strategies for building strong relationships with our key stakeholders by identifying the most appropriate ways to enhance their understanding of our company's objectives and build relations.
The Stakeholder Relations Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies, opportunities, approaches, and initiatives to enhance awareness, understanding and support for EDF-R.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans and tactics in accordance with the stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Manage stakeholder mapping, prepares communications to stakeholders and responds to stakeholder enquiries.
- Support in the development of the stakeholder relations strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Lead, develop and execute stakeholder relations initiatives and detailed stakeholder mapping for EDF-R projects to support the overall business objectives.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relations and to support EDF-R in managing relationships with external stakeholders at a strategic level including provincial, district and local levels to ensure operational stability.
- Ensure implementation of the stakeholder relations strategy, policy and procedure at the business units and community levels.
- Manage and oversee the operational affairs of the Stakeholder CRM Consultants at the projects at community levels.
- Proactively identify community needs and wants and risks.
- Develop effective management controls and approaches to implement community well-being initiatives for the operation.
- Support the internal multi-disciplinary functions related to the communities needs and wants.
- Develop project specific stakeholder engagement plans (“SEP”) aligned to the company's stakeholder management policies including but not limited to:
- Mapping of stakeholders
- Developing site specific grievance mechanisms
- Identification of key partners (NGO's , government etc.) ,
- Determining the impact of stakeholders on the projects
- Developing mitigation strategies aligned to such.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the community grievance mechanism (formal process and structure) at each project and ensuring that all grievances are addressed and closed out as per the project commitments.
- Ensure that regular scheduled meetings take place between the Company and its stakeholders and proper records are kept.
- Do regular scanning of the internal and external environment to identify and report on issues that can potentially affect the relationship between the company and its stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a strong external profile for the company within our project areas.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities within the team.

Managers and supervisors carry both legal and company responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of their employees, those under their control, and those who might be affected by the work undertaken, i.e., public, visitors and employees of other organizations. This includes ensuring risk assessments are conducted and mitigation measures are clearly communicated and understood by individuals. Employees are responsible for ensuring they fully understand the health and safety risks involved in their work activities and their responsibility to apply the controls needed to manage those risks to acceptable levels. Similarly, where work activities can have an adverse impact upon the environment, and particularly where there are legal requirements, employees are responsible for understanding those impacts and the controls they must ensure are applied.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must-have Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in social sciences or any equivalent
RELEVANT EXPERIENCES
Must-have years of professional experiences:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Stakeholder Relations/ Community Relations preferably in the renewable energy industry, but not limited to.
Professional experience in working in complex projects involving multiple working groups, coupled with strong organisational and project management skills.
Preferred years of professional experiences:
Renewable Energy or Construction Industry experience is preferred.
