We are looking for a Super Star for our client, an upmarket niche restaurant in Tshwane. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for efficient restaurant operations, maintaining high production, productivity, quality and customer service standards. This position is open to all suitably qualified applicants.
Main responsibilities:
- Directing Front of House operations in line with company policies and procedures
- POS, daily cash-ups and involvement in stock control/purchasing
- Ensuring adherence to HSE rules and regulations
- Staff training and development
- Promotions and restaurant profitability in conjunction with the Marketing Department
- Guest interaction, relationship building, complaint resolution
- Maintenance of service levels and standards
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum Matric Senior Certificate
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
- Management experience in Food and Beverage Division
- Solid understanding of food and beverage in hospitality
- Excellent communication skills written and spoken in English and Afrikaans
- Contactable references
- Must be resident in Tshwane
- Valid driver’s license
Salary is R18 000 – apply below CTC per month, but this could be negotiable on experience.
