Our client, a leading cyber security firm based in Johannesburg, South Africa is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to assist their business development initiatives. This role is crucial for expanding their client base and fostering strategic partnerships. As a key member of their team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential clients that align with target market and service offerings
- Use various channels including cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate leads and initiate contact with key decision-makers
- Conduct outbound calls to engage prospects, qualify leads, and set up meetings or demos
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with businesses, organizations, and industry influencers to enhance market presence
- Manage and prioritize leads efficiently using CRM software to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities
- Track and report on sales metrics, including lead conversion rates and sales forecasts
- Conduct initial meetings, presentations, and demos to showcase services and solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Contribute to the development of business development strategies and initiatives aligned with company goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role in a B2B environment
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Cyber Security sales experience
- Ability to travel when needed
