Core Description
Provide expertise and support in BCX conducting its business in compliance with all national and international laws, regulations that pertain to its industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices & internal standards. This includes implementing a compliance framework to minimise breaches and optimise business performance
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
• Developing and implementing of all aspects of the compliance framework, including processes, tools, and systems.
• Assess, measure, manage, monitor, and report on material individual, aggregate and emerging compliance risks.
• Establishing an early warning or trigger system for breaches of the BCX Compliance Framework.
• Develop, implement, and monitor reporting mechanisms to support compliance and highlight areas of exposure. This includes facilitating compliance risk assessments.
• Providing input on solutions to enhance Compliance practices and operationalisation thereof.
• Design compliance risk dashboards and other tools to support the continuous monitoring of compliance risks.
• Co-ordinate reporting and insights from dashboards for company/Board reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement training and awareness programmes to promote a strong compliance structure.

Minimum Qualifications
NQF 7: 3 year Bachelors Degree in Law
Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in a legal and compliance environment.
Certifications
Admission as practicing Attorney or Advocate
Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry
Level of Engagement & Span of Control
