A leading multinational water technology company is in search of a FP&A Analyst to join their growing global ranks. The company creates innovative and smart technology solutions to meet the world's water, wastewater and energy needs. The FP&A must ensure a high level of accuracy in the monthly financial reporting, identifying deviations of the settled financial and operational targets and follow up correction plans.
As Financial Planner Analyst you will be responsible for: - Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze them against budgets.
- Implement and monitor inventory management tools.
- Develop forecasts to aid decision-making.
- Manage accounting records in line with key KPIs.
- Conduct cost accounting analysis and reporting.
- Create a proactive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department.
- Standardize processes for FP&A and cost accounting.
- Oversee cost-saving projects.
- Manage internal KPIs for production, purchasing, operations, and sales, and suggest improvements.
- Lead the budget process and help managers with their costs.
- Improve finance processes and lead related projects.
- Support financial integration for companies and audits.
- Seek ongoing improvements to meet strategic goals.
- Develop procedures for controlling and commercial functions.
- Collaborate with Sales on forecasts and budgets.
- Focus on margin tracking and support commercial decision-making.
Job Experience and Skills Required: - CA(SA) or CIMA accreditation is essential
- Manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry experience is essential
- 3 to 5 years post article experience is preferred
