Job Responsibilities
- Creating marketing initiatives to attract new clients.
- Meeting with potential clients to discuss their insurance needs.
- Researching all the available policy options for the client.
- Negotiating with underwriters to get the best policy at the best price.
- Presenting policy details to the client and signing the policy agreement.
- Collecting premiums.
- Processing client accounts.
- Advising clients on risk management initiatives.
- Advising clients on when and how to make a claim on their policy.
- Preparing reports for underwriters.
- Updating existing policies.
- Maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications
- Must have RE5 or industry related qualification such as wealth management/financial planning.
- 1 year working experience (Insurance).
- Short term (Personal, Commercial, Marine and/or other specialist) broking experience as internal broker.
- Understand a client renewal, (Obtaining quotations, putting together the presentation, firming up the renewal with both the client and Insurer).
- Excellent Knowledge of MS Office especially EXCEL & Word.
- Must be independent and also able to work in a team.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).

Pay: R5 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
