Internal Logistics Operator
Overview:We are seeking an Internal Logistics Operator to join our client. This role involves running various material flow processes to support our clients internal customer operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a practical 'hands on' approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely carry out material flow processes, including stock replenishment, waste removal, and material movement
- Operate cardboard cutting machines and replenishment processes
- Follow electronic work flows and bar code scanning processes
- Conduct forklift operations and vendor collections and deliveries
Qualifications:
- Practical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow time-bound Standard Work instructions
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Valid Counterbalance Truck training and recent experience
- Full driving license
Day-to-day:The role involves physical, manual handling operations within a given shift, with training provided on each process. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08 00 and Friday 07 00.
