About the Role
We are looking for an organized and proactive Program Coordinator to assist in the execution of various startup initiatives and developer programs. The Program Coordinator will work closely with Program Managers, startups, partners, and local communities to ensure the smooth operation of both online and offline programs. The role involves program coordination, outreach, event planning, and logistical support, including travel coordination and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Review & Coordination: Collaborate with Program Managers to understand program requirements and assist in executing startup initiatives.
- Community Engagement: Work with developers, startups, and partners to execute startup programs and initiatives, both online and offline.
- Feedback & Reporting: Collect feedback from program participants, prepare insights, and present results to the Developer Relations team on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Outreach & Education: Coordinate and execute outreach activities to educate startups about Google’s offerings, including managing accelerator programs, conducting workshops, and organizing events.
- Content Management: Oversee content creation for blogs, social media, and other networking channels to engage the developer and startup community.
- Event Logistics: Manage event logistics, including obtaining quotes, coordinating with external agencies, and organizing travel for external guests.
- Swag Management: Maintain and track inventory for program-related merchandise, and handle the ordering and mailing of swag as needed.
- Purchase Orders (POs): Create POs for Google’s approval, ensuring smooth financial transactions and issue resolution.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide detailed program status reports and keep track of any issues related to the programs.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel for program participants and guests as required, including occasional travel to support program execution.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in coordinating events and working with external vendors.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders, including developers and startups.
- Familiarity with social media, blogs, and content management.
- Ability to work outside regular office hours as needed and travel based on program requirements.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about community building, event management, and supporting startups in their growth and development. The Program Coordinator will be a key player in ensuring the successful execution of initiatives across the developer and startup ecosystem.
