Do you care about good assessment quality and have a passion for improving it?
As an Assessment Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the review, improvement and management of assessment quality across our end-to-end design and delivery processes. You'll be heavily involved with reviewing and improving processes and practices using quality data and your understanding of good assessment.
Working with colleagues, you will help deliver change whilst supporting engagement of key stakeholders and working across key projects and programmes.

What you'll be doing.
- Analyse assessment quality performance data and with key stakeholders, recommend and implement improvements
- Review key business processes and rules to ensure high quality and compliant outcomes
- Lead assessment quality projects and activities across areas, managing cross-team working groups to ensure quality, budget control, timely delivery and compliance with regulatory conditions
- Represent Assessment Quality to meet wider business needs, support series delivery and input assessment quality expertise to strategic projects
- Lead change and champion assessment quality, supporting internal colleagues to do the same
- Produce reports and papers for management and governance groups.
What you'll need to succeed.
- Understanding of continuous improvement and quality management principles
- Ability to lead work and projects to put these into practice in relation to assessment quality
- Confident in working with, influencing and managing internal stakeholders, to support the delivery of high-quality assessments throughout end-to-end processes that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of assessment design and delivery best practice and ability to represent that well to varied stakeholders
- Good understanding of data analysis, including statistical data
- Understands the regulatory environment in which AQA works and the importance of compliance

- Self-motivated and able to work well in multidisciplinary teams, with a willingness to share ideas and best practice and learn from others
