RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a large, well-established, national RETAIL COMPANY to source a PERSONAL ASSISTANT to be based at their head office in PINETOWN . R24k to R35k including benefits
OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND IS PART OF A GROUP OF 350 RETAIL STORES ACROSS SOUTHERN AFRICA.
Applicants should have/be the following:
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years as a personal assistant to senior executives essential.
- Fully computer literate on MS Office suite.
- SAP experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good Interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently without any supervision.
- Supervisory and people management skills.
- Deadline orientated.
- Able to respond to incoming correspondence on behalf of the MD.
- Flexible in terms of working hours and travel.
- Positive attitude and team player.
Prior experience may compensate for qualifications not met and all appointments are subject to our Affirmative Action Policy.
Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Assist in compiling management reports and preparing meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
- Assist with preparation of presentations.
- Draft correspondence, filing and minute taking.
- Manage complex calendars in collaboration with the leadership team secretaries/PAs.
- Prioritise appointments and travel arrangements.
- Act as liaison between the Managing Director and all internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters relating to the MDs office.
- Support the MD with special projects, initiatives, and research assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences and events including agenda preparation, venue booking, technical support, and logistics management.
- Build and maintain a strong business relationship with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the leadership team.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Management of company pool vehicles and bookings.
- Effectively manage and lead a team of direct reports.
- Carrying out any reasonable tasks requested by management (ad hoc duties).
Remuneration:
R24k to R35k including benefits
