My client, based in Stellenbosch, is seeking to employ a Financial Manager. This is considered a key position within the organisation.The ideal candidate will have a B.Comm Accounting or similar degree and have 8+ years experience.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and interaction with Auditors
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budget and forecast
- Monthly VAT management and submission
- Inter-company entries and consolidation
- Income tax returns
- Billing and capturing of costs
- Debtors and creditors management
- Cost control and inventory management
Main skill stack
Main: - Solid independent accounting experience, ideally using Business Central
- Ability to manage financial administration of a South African business
- PowerBI experience
Advantageous: - Business Central setup and management skills or broader Microsoft 365 experience
Bonus: - Knowledge or experience with Dutch domestic accounting and tax system.
Knowledge
- Independent administration of management accounts, budget and forecast, cost control and billing as well as VAT and Income tax management.

Academic background and qualifications
- B.Comm Accounting or similar
- Business Central
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills in Afrikaans and English is essential.
