We are seeking an experienced Rail Equipment Engineer to join our Managed Service Lighting division in Erith.
Duties:
- Daily preventative and breakdown maintenance activities on rail tool equipment and lighting
- Ensure service schedules are up to date and repair faulty rail equipment as necessary to ensure it remains available for hire
- Work additional hours for breakdowns and time sensitive project work.
- Maintenance often needs to be carried out overnight so you will be expected to work nights, shift payments included
What youll need:
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills and able to use tools effectively
- Lighting managements experience
- Lighting and power product knowledge
- Personal Track Safety
- ICI and BTA rail permits
- The ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Full valid driving licence
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety, relevant to the role
- Commitment to learn and develop
