RPO Recruitment is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Controller to join our client's team in the agriculture sector. This role is based in a dynamic environment where effective logistics and supply chain management play a vital role in supporting agricultural operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process, including planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain activities
- Manage transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely deliveries
- Work closely with suppliers, farmers, and internal teams to ensure efficient inventory management
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transport costs and improve service levels
- Monitor stock levels and manage the flow of goods in and out of warehouses
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all logistics activities
Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the agriculture industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of agricultural products and practices is advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required
