Human Resources (HR) Manager will oversee employee hiring and onboarding experience as well as assisting in crafting company policies. The role focuses on employee training and payroll management and requires good knowledge of labor laws.
Job Description
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- To manage SETA in terms of getting funding and training for employees.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics .
- CCMA disputes Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Minimum Requirements
- Min 5 years working experience as HR Manager
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Experience within hospitality, Union, policies and contracts drafting experience.
- HR systems and databases ( Sage preferred)
- Must be able to Manage Unions process
- Have managed SETA in terms of getting funding and training for employees.
