Position Summary: • Drive business through Education, On-counter coaching, Outside Events, On-counter Activities in retail outlets and build brand equity.
• Plan and Coordinate events to ensure increased sales, brand awareness and productivity within the Brand, while maintaining Brand Image.
• Achieve the sales objectives through own effective performance, through exceptional customer service and through the effective management, development and motivation of the team.
• Meet and exceed service and sales goals established by Jo Malone by coaching the Stylists on how to achieve goals by building long-term customer relationships.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Daily, weekly and monthly monitor business and analyse results to recognise areas of opportunity and growth to build and impact on overall business.
• Ensure that the Consultation Standards and Jo Malone Service Vision are adhered to at all times
• Execute events according to the events guidelines
• Ensure customers are treated professionally at all times/Service excellence
• Recruit new customers to the Jo Malone brand
• Ensure all action plans are in order for all promotions, launches and special events to ‘drive sales’
• Personally demonstrate excellent selling skills, acting as a role model for team members
• Conduct weekly team meetings to communicate to the team aspects of product knowledge, marketing, account and brand goals and other useful, motivational information
• Look for ways to increase sales potential and service standards via events and focus both in store and outside
• Monitor competitor products, activity and results and discuss with the Sales Manager ways to take on the competition and build the business
• Communicate regularly and effectively with the Sales Manager, keeping him/her informed of activities and working together to resolve difficulties
• Work with the Sales Manager to plan and implement Events pertaining to:
• New Product launches
• Core business activities
• Promotional business
• Building customer loyalty
• Consistently maintain immaculate standards of grooming and excellent merchandising at all times.
• Consistently maintain housekeeping and the use of Jo Malone hygiene at all times.
• Ensure CRM is kept up to date at all times, conduct training when required.
• Ensure all clients are informed timeously of promotions and special events
• Ensure the Boutique is merchandised to comply with the Jo Malone image and standards and marketing focus at all times
• Ensure the Jo Malone philosophy is communicated to customers
• Ensure that all tools and staff necessary for the execution of events are sourced and available timeously.
• Ensure that equipment for special events are stocked at all times according to Checklist and that a high standard on hygiene is maintained
• Conduct regular communication sessions with the team to keep them informed of targets, initiatives and activities that impact on their ability to perform their jobs to the best standard
• Ensure that all HR documentation is completed on a timely and accurate basis.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and submit in accordance with deadlines
• Ensure Merchandising guidelines and standards are followed.
• Ensure the team receive education, coaching and guidance to learn all aspects of running the account, have the correct product knowledge and can complete all tasks required
• Conduct quarterly assessments and bi-annual performance reviews in line with Company policy
• Leads by example and demonstrates a mentoring style of management, whilst exceeding company standards.
Qualifications Requirements:
• Cosmetic experience preferred.
• 1-2 years key holder responsibility in a supervisory role in a service oriented environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Managerial experience.
