Job Description:
As the Financial Manager, your duties and responsibilities are the following:
Be operationally involved for the day to day functionalities
Supervising the procurement process
Prepare audit packs
Maintain the fixed asset registers
Guiding staff on policies and operational procedures
Managing Service Level Agreements with service providers
Training and developing team members
Controlling and authorizing outputs related to debtors, creditors, cash flow and treasury
Ensuring the effective use of cash resources
Overseeing tax compliance and authorizing payments
Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts
Producing signed and audited Annual Financial Statements for all entities
Preparing and submitting annual departmental budgets
Conducting variance analysis and reporting on actuals
Maintain quarterly budgets
Overseeing inventory management
Supporting operational and production-related issues
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of accounting and tax standards
Qualification:
Relevant Finance or Accounting degree
Completed CIMA qualification would be beneficial
Grade 12 (Matric)
