DUTIES
Develops marketing strategies and plans to meet set business targets:
- Develops marketing budgets.
- Manages the production of marketing materials.
- Assists with the development of methods for the generation of awareness through social media.
- Arranges for the effective distribution of marketing materials via various media.
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing advertisements in traditional/online media.
- Conducts market research, which includes member questionnaires, focus groups, etc.
- Liaises with various other departments in the organization to ensure participation and collaboration in promotional activities.
- Works with the team to develop/innovate products and services.
- Liaises with suppliers.
Responsibilities
Works with the Manager to develop marketing plans that focus on meeting organizational objectives:
- Assists with specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research.
- Assists with the development and implementation of a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with relevant departments to execute.
- Performs related duties as may be required by the Manager.
Qualification
Education: Degree/diploma in Marketing or related.
Experience: 5 years minimum experience working in a similar role.
Skills: Fully literate in all digital software and programs. Experience in the following will be beneficial:
- Adobe Photoshop and design programs.
- Auto tracking.
- Social Media setup.
- Google Adwords.
- SEO.
