Job Description
A financial services company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the workflow of their trainee accountants, ensuring that all deadlines are met. You will also handle complex financial tasks, including reconciliations, tax opinions, and reviews of monthly management accounts for a diverse client base. Additionally, you will oversee payroll, tax returns, and provide guidance and support to junior accountants. This is a hybrid position (one or two days work from home, based in Bryanston).
Requirements
- Financial reporting, drafting and preparation of financial statements
- Must have an advanced knowledge of Excel and related functions
- Tax practitioner and tax-related degree
- Experience with accounting software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Relevant Finance or Accounting qualification (BCompt Honours or Chartered Accountant)
- Worked in auditing and wanting to remain in an audit, tax, and accountancy-related field
- Experience in the tax and accounting industry
