JOB PURPOSE
In line with MSC Cruises policies and procedures and under the supervision of the SPA manager, the Assistant SPA Manager is responsible for helping ensure the smooth running of the SPA and Gym by supporting the SPA Manager with all aspects of the SPA operation and providing assistance to the On-board SPA Team to maximise SPA revenue and achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- The Assistant SPA Manager supports team leadership and coordination
- Represents the spa in a cordial, efficient and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Provides and maintain quality service to generate maximum profits through cost control and creative, energetic salesmanship
- Ensures the well-being of the SPA guests with professional competence
- Provide guests with professional advice and sales of treatments and products
- Controls daily closing and administrative work
- Well-developed organization and computer skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English, and fluency in at least 2 of the following languages: German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Chinese. Any other language is considered as advantageous
- 1+ year of experience as assistant SPA manager or receptionist in a Fitness or Beauty centre or 4* star Hotel with relevant sales and consulting experience
- Diploma is Health, Skincare, Somatology or similar industries
- Strong PC Skills using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or equivalent mail client application
- Proven accounting skills, marketing strategy and the ability to lead the group to meet new goals
