Requirements:
- MS Excel & Outlook Experience
- Previous transport or gatehouse experience beneficial but no essential
- Working 1400-2200 Sunday to Thursday
Responsibilities:
As a Gatehouse Clerk, you will
- Booking trailers in and out
- Performing security searches of colleagues on exit of site.
- Creating and updating Vehicle Load Plans.
- Basic pick management (informing loading team of outstanding tasks for scheduled trailer departure)
- Checking all containers are scanned to VLPs/Loads and communicating any discrepancies to loading team/Management.
- Microsoft office proficiency- email, updating spreadsheets.
- Communication with Primary Transport regarding trailer requirements.
- General administration tasks.
- Any other additional ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
- Potential for further training on work release.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Right mindset and eye for detail.
