Position Overview
An Accountant highly experienced with management accounts, VAT, Payroll, and PAYE is required on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring they comply with legal requirements and accounting standards.
- Manage Payroll, PAYE, and VAT.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciling bank statements.
- Help in budget preparation and expense management activities.
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
- Assist with tax preparation, filing, and audit processes.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
