Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client to recruit a new full time and permanent Inside Sales Representative to join their expanding team.
Duties
- Responsible to initiate contact with potential and current customers to generate and qualify leads, promote the company's products and services, and close sales opportunities.
- Profile & develop business relationships with prospective Sea Logistics customers through regular engagement.
- Manage small portfolio of house / branch accounts with a view to growth and GP development.
- Develop solutions for customers based on detailed understanding of their requirements.
- Take pricing decisions in alignment with the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Using sales strategies to maximise profit rather than selling at bottom line prices.
- Build rapport and relationships with Customers.
- Prepare, submit and follow up quotations to Customers.
- Sell company services sustainably
Criteria
- Previous telephone sales experience
- Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Very good time management skills with the ability to set priorities, fulfil critical tasks in time and keep to deadlines
- Perseverance and resistant to challenge
- Ability to communicate effectively with an approachable nature
Salary approx. £29k p/a with attractive commission package
