We are seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef to join our client's luxurious lodge.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.
- Must have fine dining skills.
- Experienced in preparing quality catering services.
- Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing dishes.
- Assisting with the management of health and safety.
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.
- Managing and training all junior departments.
- Monitoring portion and waste control.
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards.
- Refined plating style.
- Experience working in fine dining or upmarket bistro-style establishments.
Compensation: Lucrative package - R18000-00 plus tips, accommodation, meals, 50% medical aid, 50% provident fund, flights included.
