The Role
Based in the East Midlands, as Student Engagement and Recruitment Officer you will undertake Student recruitment activity across the region, create and develop network and sales channels to deliver against student recruitment targets for your region.
Working closely with the Senior Student Engagement and Recruitment Manager you will contribute to the development of the recruitment plans for the region for which you have responsibility while delivering allocated elements of regional strategies, driving performance to secure existing and new markets, recruitment pipelines and provide annual projections and recommendations for improvements.
A truly sales focused role, collaborating with colleagues across the recruitment, conversation and admission teams, you will represent Coventry University Group locally attending exhibitions, career conventions, present at schools and colleges to achieve annual student recruitment targets, while developing and extending links with educational institutions and other applicable organisations across the East Midlandsregion.
The working pattern for this role is five days over seven, including evenings and weekends as required. This regional based role will involve regular travel within your designated region to maximise sales opportunities for Coventry University Group
Our Successful Candidate
A results focused, target driven individualwitha proven record of accomplishment in sales with a focus of developing medium- to long-term markets and pipelines. You will have experience working in a similar target based commercial/educational sales role achieving ambitious performance targets selling high value and complex services to a variety of customers.
Outstanding persuasion and influencing skills (including oral, written and presentation skills) with the ability to build strong relationships with key stake holders, influence, and debate at senior levels, to get the right result.
Exceptional organisational, planning, change and project management skills are essential requirements for this role along with a wiliness to travel and a flexible approach to work.
