We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable Quality Controller/Stock Controller to join our client’s Global Brands Repair team. They will be a key player in the operations team. They will ensure that our client has the right stock, at the right time, in the right place and in the right quantities, to ensure their clients have a good customer experience. They will work closely with the buying team to plan and build the range, taking control of stock levels to maximise profit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the smooth running of daily stock
- Forecasting sales and stock level to achieve repair plans and margin/profit for the Business
- Monitoring the business performance and identifying opportunities of risk/loss
- Evaluate the efficiency of the department whilst focusing on lead times and general performance
- Managing the weekly stock and input Data and supporting repair plans
- Develop and build strong relationships with suppliers/import agents
- Regular analysis of department performance to maximise commercial opportunities
- Through strategic planning and trading of the department, manage the stock repair requirements of the business
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2-6 years’ experience in a similar customer focused role
- An appropriate Degree/Diploma
- Proven track record of driving a department through creative thinking
- Previous experience working in the retail industry dealing with multiple products
