Human Resources Officer Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for the below:
- Oversee the entire recruitment process from start to finish.
- Manage employees onboarding and offboarding.
- Draft appointment letters, promotion letters, and handle other administrative tasks.
- Promote and lead employee wellness programs and initiatives.
- Conduct induction sessions and policy workshops.
- Administer and educate employees on benefits and benefit structures.
- Manage the performance management process, including education and training.
- Contribute to policy development and documentation.
- Prepare, consult, and submit Employment Equity Plans and reports.
- Maintain and administer the leave module, ensuring updates on the People ESS system.
- Handle general HR reporting, including monthly and quarterly statistics.
- Assist and consult with employees on employment, IR, and HR-related queries.
- Take ownership of HR projects and research as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, policy, and audit standards.
- Develop and deliver policy and procedure training regularly.
- Coordinate CSI activities for Shared Services in line with BEE and GM requirements.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education: Completed BCom in HR and related field.
Experience: 5+ years experience in a similar role in finance.
