A leading Financial Services firm based in Cape Town is seeking a CRM and Direct Marketing Manager to develop and implement customer journey strategies across direct marketing channels.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimise direct marketing efforts across various channels, ensuring high levels of customer engagement and retention. You will play a key part in driving business growth through detailed customer segmentation and personalised campaigns, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to enhance customer engagement, reduce opt-outs, and deliver targeted campaigns that convert into sales.
Key qualifications for the CRM and Direct Marketing Manager:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a CRM role
- Experience working for an online transactional business with a strong digital presence
- Proven experience developing customer lifecycle programs and managing trigger campaigns
- Strong understanding of CRM tools, content management systems, and data management
- Advanced experience with MS Office and G-Suite tools
Key duties for the CRM and Direct Marketing Manager include but are not limited to:
- Mapping customer journeys for direct marketing campaigns
- Collaborating with creative teams to provide a personalised customer experience
- Managing the direct marketing calendar to optimise customer engagement
- Implementing quality assurance for all marketing campaigns
- Liaising with stakeholders on brand campaigns to integrate into the marketing calendar
- Conducting and reporting on customer surveys
- Driving A/B testing for customer conversion optimisation
- Ensuring compliance with best practices and legal standards for campaigns
- Managing and growing the direct marketing lists through targeted segmentation and strategies
