Our client is looking for an experienced
Conveyancing Secretary to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property transfers and conveyancing. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, handling diverse responsibilities.
Duties:
- Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including document preparation, client communication, and liaising with relevant parties
- Assist with property transfers and related legal procedures
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of all conveyancing tasks
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Work independently and managing the workload
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in conveyancing
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in relevant legal software and Microsoft Office suite
