Our well-established client is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team to conduct and manage manufacturing improvement activities and resources in line with company targets.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Diploma in Industrial Engineering
- Project Management (advantageous)
- 2-5 years’ experience
Technical Skills and Specialist Knowledge:
- Use of Measuring Equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership skills to deliver projects, processes, and manufacturing improvements in a lean manufacturing environment
- Analytical thinker

- Teamwork
- Proficiency in MS Office
Objectives:
- Eliminate waste and implement manufacturing improvements in line with delegated projects
- Drive the business manufacturing excellence strategy by deploying lean principles according to agreed projects
- Identify, evaluate and implement improvement ideas that result in tangible improvements in productivity and waste elimination, aligning with the 4-pillar strategy
- Effectively manage and deploy resources in line with delegated areas and projects
- Review Performance Quality (PQs) monthly
