About Our Client:
Our Client is excited to announce the opening of their new restaurant in the Hamble area, where they will serve traditional, artisan wood-fired pizzas, complemented by fresh ingredients and a vibrant atmosphere. As part of their passionate culinary team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pizza experiences to our customers.
Pizza Chef - Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic pizzas, from dough making to topping preparation and baking in a wood-fired oven
- Ensure the highest quality of food by following recipes and maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- Monitor stock and ensure all ingredients are fresh and well-prepped for daily service
- Manage the pizza station, ensuring it runs smoothly during busy periods
- Assist in developing new pizza recipes and menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Pizza Chef - Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo or Pizza Chef
- Skilled in hand-stretching dough and working with wood-fired ovens
- Knowledge of different pizza styles, dough fermentation, and toppings
- Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality food
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Culinary certifications (preferred but not essential)
