Purpose of the Job
To ensure the streamlined and optimized running of the Fleet Department by assisting the Fleet Supervisor. Key Performance Areas include:
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Keeping records and general administration for both Despatch and Fleet
- Route planning and Management of all Collections and Deliveries
- To ensure that all POD documentation is accounted for and completed as per business requirements
- Ensure proper timekeeping of all operational staff is done daily
- All operational incidents and accidents to be investigated and as well as proper route course corrective actions implemented
- Follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices
- Tracking of vehicles and on route follow up and escalating of issues on the route
- Perform any other reasonable admin duties
- Monitor and report work performance of staff in the designated area
- Capturing and reporting of fuel usage and fines are done on a daily basis and completed timeously.

Qualifications
Experience
- Experience in a similar environment and industry an added advantage
Knowledge and Skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficient in English and one other official language
- Computer literate - Proficient in MS Office and GSuite
