Business Development Manager South Africa (m/f/d)
Job Overview
Remote or in Johannesburg, South Africa – Full time
Responsibilities:
- International sales responsibility with focus on South Africa
- Management and implementation of the business development process with the goal of achieving sustainable growth
- Systematic generation of new sales channels and new distribution partners
- Continuous analysis and evaluation of the international market and competitors to derive recommendations for action
- Support to all existing customers in South Africa
- Carrying out sales negotiations, price negotiations as well as condition and contract negotiations
- Seek marketing and PR opportunities to spread brand awareness
- Support for acquiring relevant IT security certification and other relevant assurance for provision of SaaS to different industry verticals
- Organisation and participation in trade fair appearances and promotions in South Africa
- Checking pricing and assisting distributors and resellers to seek co-sell opportunities
- Professional staff management
- Direct reporting to the CEO
Your Profile:
- Completed business studies or education as a foreign trade specialist
- Relevant professional experience in business development and export (South Africa) ideally in the B2B and IT environment
- Structured, independent way of working, proactive, result- and success-oriented action
- Ability to work in a team and leadership experience
- Ability to establish relationships and a serial networker
- Confident, committed and professional appearance
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- English language skills in word and writing at native speaker level
- Willingness to travel, mobility and flexibility
- Multicultural understanding and confident, sensitive appearance
