Key Duties and Responsibilities – Key Performance Indicators :
- Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts and sole proprietors.
- Preparation and completion of statutory tax returns:
- Goods and services tax returns.
- Income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals.
- Dividends tax returns.
- Prepare tax payments.
- Tracking tax returns and audits with tax authorities.
- Provide financial and tax guidance to clients.
- Training of clients and staff to be competent on accounting systems.
- Publish timely and accurate monthly financial and progress reports.
- Processing and maintaining of employee payroll records.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Writing up and processing bookkeeping entries to trial balance and closing account
- Account reconciliations and clearing accounts.
- Preparation of cash flows and budgets.
Academic Qualifications Required:
- Tertiary qualification (BCom/ BTech)
Skills, Competencies and Experience Required:
- SAIPA qualified, or working towards SAIPA designation
- 3 - 5 years' related experience
- Previous experience working within an audit/accounting firm (advantageous)
- Computer Literate (MS Office; SARS, E-Filing, GreatSoft Tax, XERO)
- Good Communication Skills
- Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- Own Transport
