Hire Resolve's client is looking for a E-Commerce Growth Manager to join their team in Sandton, Johannesburg. As an E-Commerce Growth Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the online sales strategy and executing growth initiatives that enhance the customer shopping experience. This position requires a data-driven mindset and innovative thinking to maximize online performance across diverse channels.
Responsibilities
- Optimize website performance and user experience by conducting regular audits, implementing A/B testing, and utilizing data-driven insights to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.
- Monitor and stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ecommerce, digital marketing, and consumer behavior to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Planning, coordinating, and executing e-commerce initiatives and activities to drive online sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Craft a clear content strategy with measurable outcomes.
- Daily oversight and management of paid media channels, including search, social and mobile channels.
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies and plans aligned with business objectives to drive online sales growth.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growth.
- Utilize industry best practices, emerging technologies, and digital marketing techniques to optimize the e-commerce website's performance.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, SEO/SEM, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic and increase conversions.
- Analyze data, including web analytics and customer insights, to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback, reviews, and ratings to maintain a positive brand image and improve customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports on the performance of the e-commerce platform, including key metrics, sales trends, customer behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
- Service preferred marketplaces.
- Develop website testing framework to improve conversion rates.
- Plan and execute media campaigns across paid social, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others
- Drive the segmented marketing / direct communication strategy in terms of customer buying history and profile, using Power BI.
- Forecast and report financial results weekly/monthly to identify growth opportunities.
- Daily analytics oversight into website performance through platforms like Google Analytics, SEMRush, Similarweb etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and CMS systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
- Experience using Excel and analytics software (ex: Google Analytics)
- Experience using email & SMS platforms.
