Job Description We are seeking a dynamic IT Delivery Manager responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions within cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will manage collaboration between business units (BU) and technology teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing risks, and facilitating continuous improvement in delivery standards. The IT Delivery Manager will ensure timely implementation of technology solutions, manage system evolution, and help the team improve velocity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate technology development across teams to implement solutions.
- Ensure business owners manage scope, prioritize work, and allow enhancements.
- Collaborate with BU and technology owners on responsibilities and involvement cycles.
- Assure prioritization and functional decomposition of tasks to achieve business/technology objectives.
- Proactively manage team capacity and iterative system evolution.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues across business and technology teams.
- Track and report on status and implementation of business/technology solutions.
- Oversee artifacts for scheduling, design, architecture, resource estimation, and risk management.
- Provide guidance to ensure alignment with IT policies and standards.
- Plan and manage non-production environments and address technical limitations.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery quality, team standards, and technical maturity.
- Manage technical debt and legacy system decommissioning.

Requirements
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Enterprise Architecture or Technology frameworks (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of ICT project management (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in managing software development teams or delivery teams.
- Experience in database or software development roles.
- Ability to validate work and engage/manage stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on delivery.
- General business acumen; insurance industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile principles, and project management methodologies.
