Mission/Function of therole:
What are theresponsibilities of the role?
·Consults with customers on technical solutions,together with the Sales Manager or Key Account Manager.
·Clarifies customers´ targets and requirements,and/or specification in request for proposal (RFP).
·Prepares participation in tender and leadsnegotiation with customers.
·Coordinates overall planning of the project anddecides on allocation of resources.
·Clarifies specification and continuously liaiseswith other internal departments involved ensuring clear KPI’s for all teammembers.
·Monitors milestone and adherence to budgets, andinitiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
·Reviews project risks and ensures that appropriatemitigation measures are put in place by following the contractual claimsprocedure to maximise opportunities.
·Maintains constant communication to customers,outside contractors or other stakeholders with minutes of meetings beingdistributed to all relevant parties.
·May coordinate agreed commissioning measuresonsite, together with Engineering.
·Adheres to PM standards and Business ConductGuidelines (e.g., Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS, Quality Control).
·Manages and coordinates all temporarily assignedproject staff.
Qualifications and Experience
·Relevanttertiary Degree/Diploma, preferably an Electrical Engineering qualification orsimilar.
·Must have min3-5 years’ experience with NEC3.
·FIDICexperience would be advantageous
·5-8 years’experience in project management with full profit and loss responsibility.
·StrongAdministration and time management skills.
·Advancedinterpersonal skills
·Ability to lead virtual project team/sto a successful implementation across countries.
·Excellent intercultural skills tocooperate with customers throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
·Must be willingto travel.
