The Project Manager will be responsible for making sure that projects are finished on schedule, within the allocated budget, and meet the expected quality standards by developing, overseeing and coordinating a detailed project plan as a roadmap, detailing the timelines and resources needed. Throughout the project lifecycle, monitor progress and adjust as necessary to ensure the project remains on track.
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma; Relevant Certifications
- Experience in Project Management (ideally a similar industry)
- Computer literate
- Proficiency in project management software
- Good team management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- Willing to travel
Responsibilities and Duties
- Daily monitoring and tracking of projects in progress.
- Conducting daily touch-base meetings with the Design Manager, Procurement Manager, Factory Project
- Manager and Electrical and Automation Manager to collate live project updates.
- Identify discrepancies or issues and promptly implement corrective measures.
- Provide support with troubleshooting and resolving issues when applicable.
- Preparing status reports, conducting regular project meetings and being the point of contact for any inquiries related to the project.
- Ensuring that the project adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Health & Safety procedures and checks in the factory (I.e. Portable Electrical, Tools, Ladders, Machine Guarding,
- Lifting Equipment, Safety Harnesses, Lights, Gas Welding Equipment, etc).
Assigning Toolboxes to new employees.
