We are looking for a talented and highly organised Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be responsible for forging effective relationships with brands, media-, creative-, digital-, and PR agencies in the whole African region.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, building a high-performance and strategic business development, and handling the offering of the indaHash platform to the highest levels of clients and agencies in the FMCG, entertainment and many other segments. We are looking for a BDM who has:
understanding of market targets and budgets, media industry, and new business development
a proven track record of existing client and media agency relationships
Ability to hit the road running and show an early impact on the business
ability to nourish fruitful relationships, and to set up meetings with decision-makers within a limited timeframe
proven strategies and experience to attract clients successfully and the ability to negotiate to close business deals swiftly
strong experience with digital culture, and knowledge of trends and innovation in the digital ecosystem (Social Media/Media/Advertising/Digital)
3-4 years of experience in media sales /creative agency (ideal but not necessary)
excellent organisational skills, with an emphasis on priorities and goal-setting

keeping up-to-date with social media trends
maintaining relationships with current clients
implementing strategies for winning new clients
developing a sales pipeline which converts to revenue and targets
Being a thought leader and strategist to your clients
shaping together with your team the biggest influencer marketing platform in the Africa region
planning approaches and pitches
establish and nurture cooperation with NGOs to enhance our social impact and corporate responsibility initiatives.
